...This 1990 album may be out of date and possibly past its sell-by-date now but trust me, it still gets you singing along to it. It has all the classics from the days when Madonna wasn't exactly up and coming but still working working on getting herself known in such countries as her own. The line up of songs includes "Lucky Star", "Like A Virgin", "Holiday", "Material Girl", "Crazy For You", "Papa Don't Preach", "La Isla Bonita" and "Vogue". These are just a few. The collection is truelly immaculate. Those who are not so keen on Madonna and believe that maybe her better days were when she wasn't singing at all, should at least hire this one. It is good. You'll be surprised. Very surprised. Go on, hire it. Then buy it. Though, I don't think shes in need of the money..... Read review

...The Immaculate Collection is the first volume of Madonna's greatest hits. If you, like me, gre up listening to stuff like Into the Groove and Like a Virgin, you won't be disappointed with what's on this album. Following a rough chronology, it starts with the early stuff like "Borderline" and "Lucky Star" and moves through the early hits like "Material Girl" and "Holiday". The album ends with "Vogue" which was a hit around 1992, so it's probably safe to say we'll be seeing a second, if not a third, greatest hits compilation from Madge at some point. The Immaculate Collection is full of happy, poppy songs that it's impossible not to sing along to - and you'll surprise yourself by knowing all of the words! This album allows you to cut through the poorer album material and go straight to the heart of what made Madonna suchg a huge star... Read review

...A new albulm for madonna, madonna is a name full of history, a pop legend with numerous number ones, numerous albulms, all sucessive, i think thats this is not the best shes ever done, the immaculate collection is the best. Including hits like Music and American pie makes the alublm worth buying but the rest, not so sure about. Its an alubulm worth buying if your a madonna fan, otherwise not so sure, its ok, but shes done better Overall value for money depends on how much you pay, i think that it is only worth about £9.00...
