...This Cd, really is The Best, but I think some of his really good ones were left out and there should have possibly been two Cd’s.
I love Close to you In fact I love them all.
There is just something about this music that makes you believe you have the sand and palm trees right there in front of you. It is so soothing too.
I am sure it would grow on even non reggae lover’s if they took the time to listen to it.
You would not be disappointed. You’ll love it....

Advantages: Relaxing, can listen to it over and over Disadvantages: None
...Maxi is one of my favourite solo Artists.
When I first heard Wild World I knew I had to have it. I finally managed to get it on this tape (as it was at the time) and after listening to the rest of it I wondered why I had not heard any of the other tracks before.
Maxi has such a unique style of reggae. He puts something different into every track. He is also able to turn tracks I previously did not like into something beautiful.
Some Guys have all the luck was a song I couldn’t stand (sorry Rod) and when I saw it on the sleeve I groaned. I now love it. Maxi has really turned Wild World into “something else” too....

Track 1) MaxiPriest feat. Shaggy - As You Walked Away
This is a cover of You Are Free, orignally a fantastic sad romantic love song written by Aska. MaxiPriest and Shaggy used their own style for the interpretation, and on the whole, is very good - although not as good as the original.
Track 2) Chaka Khan - Raspberry
A very summery song, very well sung by Chaka Khan. I wasn't familiar with the original by Chage but very nice and relaxing to listen to.
Track 3) Michael Hutchence - Red Hill
Musically the song is very much direct from the original. Personally I think it's a fantastic piece and just as good as Aska's. I would think...
