.... Using his dj skills he makes "MyMyMy" seem likes its fading away put in a downward spiral and then back up again and then dubbing the track. Some great mixing and in comes Talking In Your Sleep. Another original 80s, with a funky guitar riff and becomes clear what a big impression the 80s has had on modern club culture especially in New York. More simple mixing and it jumps straight into a fast tempo electro track "Rocky XIII" by Aloud is a feel good Daft Punk style track. The rest of the cd rounds off with two great electro and 80s style tracks "Let Me Lead You" by Armand himself featuring La Rok and "Fascinated" by Company B.
What I love about this cd "New York: A Mix Odyssey" is that it really is a mix odyssey. Armand Van Helden takes you on a journey and captures the New York City vibe of having a good time and partying. He brings out...

Advantages: Great Music, some brilliant solo's. Disadvantages: Not to everyone's tastes.

In the style of previous Jamiroquai tunes, such as 'Canned Heat' and 'Virtual Insanity', 'Little L', which was the first single to be released off the album, has the trademark acid jazz funk beat and extremely catchy, if not...
