Advantages: Some good remixes and the price Disadvantages: Not many, some fillers but i suppose you get that with every album
This cd is an absolue bargain. I would highly recommend purchasing this as Bad Boy and Puff Daddy are well known for producing good remixes and the series of albums was a very good idea, another money spinning venture but one for the fans who had remixes on b sides of cd singles and recorded off the radio!
Special Delivery - G Dep, Ghostface Killah, Keith Murray & Craig Mack. Quite a repetitive tune but a cult favourite. More likely to hear it in the clubs
I Need A Girl Part 2 - Ginuwine, Mario Winans, P Diddy & Loon. Video and single released off the back of the successful part 1. Some say they prefer this version, i actual do and its one of the best tracks on the album
Bad Boy For Life - P Diddy, Busta Rhymes & MOP. A shouty version of the original. Not bad but too much going on lyrically for me, my ears couldnt take it
I Need ...
Advantages: A few bangers Disadvantages: A few tracks are a little weaker than the rest

4. ?Where Are They Now?
Although not nearly as exciting as the remixes, this track has im ask where all the big names of the eighties and nineties have gone. In the later version he got to work with a few of the people who he lists here as he goes back into the history of HipHop and speaks on top of some funky James Brown samples, and how excited it made him as he heard all that he came up with.

5. ?HipHop Is Dead?
The titular track here had a big impact at the time as it really represented what Nas meant by the statement and made people reconsider what they see ?real HipHop? to truly be, and whether they have actually encountered it recently form the act which performed then. He take son classic breaks such as ?In ...
Advantages: Good mixture of tracks, appeals to a large audience Disadvantages: Some bad track selections
A fairly solid CD offering a diverse range of hiphop tracks from the real old skool classics from KRS-One, Sugarhill Gang and Grand Master Flash & The Furious Five to some of your more well known and newer artists such as Eminem LL Cool J and Outkast. IT has tracks that appeal to all ears and is quite inciteful into the world of hiphop both from old times and new.
However, some of the tune selections do not perhaps show the true essence of hiphop and I'm astonished that they made it onto the CD. Ja Rule and Ashanti, are they crazy! Some better tracks could have been included.
Overall a good CD for the type that it is and there's mainly quality tracks from your favourite artists and some old skool tracks that you may not have already. ...
