Advantages: smooth swing that's easy listening Disadvantages: I wish there were more tracks!
...class to this piece.
10 - Things
This is song with Jane Horracks and is absolutely great! Their singing styles compliment each other greatly and the harmonies are fantastic. The track features a joky argument at the end.
11 - Ain't that a kick in the Head
Robbie's performance of this led to jazz drummer Harold Jones' comment, 'The kid really gets the swing thing.'
12 - They Cna't Take that away from me
Sung with Rupert Everett, this song is definately one to sing along to! It features several witty comments, listen out for them!
13 - Have you met Miss Jones?
A hugely powerful rendition of the song was the inspiration for the entire album, and it's a good job he recorded it!
14 - Me and My SHadow
Sung with Jonathon Wilkes, this is the one my and my sister sing...

Advantages: When you read this you will know more about the Scissor sisters. Disadvantages: None because its great!
...I bought the Scissor Sisters self titled album recently and can’t stop playing it. After listening to the album for a few weeks now I have finally decided upon my favourite songs. I love Filthy/Gorgious, It can't come quickly enough, Return to Oz, Laura and Take Your Mama (Ihave fallen in love with the video.)
In my opinion the Scissor Sisters will appeal to a broad age group and people with varied music tastes. There is something in this CD for everyone. I will try to give you a ‘feel’ for the sounds contained within this album describing them as best I can by mentioning other groups/styles of music.
The Scissor Sisters consist of :- Jake Shears & Ana Matronic (singers). Babydaddy & Del Marquis (guitars) and Paddy Boom (drums). A keyboard player called John Garden has joined them for their UK tour just now so watch out...

Advantages: Two or Three good offerings. Disadvantages: The rest is pants.
...Swing When You're Winning - Robbie Williams
Okay, my last two reviews have been smooth jazz and hard jazz, time for a bit of swing. I have to say I feel pretty qualified to comment on this album for I have it in 3 different ways:
1. Downloaded from iTunes
2. I have the sheet music for Alto saxophone
3. I have the backing tracks to play along too
Now clearly Mr Williams is a popster, having sung and danced with one of, if not the most successful boy bands Take That. He has also gone on to carve out an incredibly successful solo career.
Swing when You're winning was the next album to be released after 'Sing when you're winning', clever so and so and is a homage to some of the big band swing numbers that Robbie purports to enjoy. Released in 2001.
~~~~~The Tracks~~~~~
1. I Will Talk and Hollywood Will Listen
2. Mack...
