...This CD is made up of 2 CD's, featuring 42 hits by loads of different artists, spanning over 50 years of classic rock music. The first CD comprises of 20 songs and the second CD 21 songs. The first CD contains classics such as queen and deep purple and the second Cd contains other great classics such as t-rex and zz top. One of my fav songs is on the second CD by Motorhead "ace of spades" what a great track. The air guitar CDs are extremly good value for money and i would reccomend anyone to buy them, in this case it definatly does do what it says on the tin ie it does make you air guitar along with it and does make excellent driving songs. Advantages: All UK singles present; totally uplifting; catchy choruses; timeless appeal
Disadvantages: Several weak tracks on Disc 2.

...of these 18 hits is present (compromising most of disc 1) and there is no shortage of classic T. Rex album tracks on disc 2 to hopefully wet your appetite to look further into T.Rex's discography. DISC 1: As mentioned, disc 1 contains the UK singles, including an impressive 4 #1 hits ('Hot Love,' 'Get it on,' 'Telegram Sam' and 'Metal Guru') hence it is fair to say it is the stronger of the two discs. Undoutedly most will know at least one T. Rex song given the wide use of their music on TV adverts and recently the Billy Elliot soundtrack. In short, catchy choruses and great music to drive along to. T. Rex songs are very simple, soft rock/pop but timeless classics all the same. Advantages: great tunes
Disadvantages: dated glam rock sound

...t rex were a great band at a sort of change in music. It is glam rock and it sounds well dated now and the videos I mean like old top of the pops footage looks riddiculous, The famous songs are Get it on which had a brilliant rythem which was beefed up by oasis a few years ago. the lyrics are very weak though in that particular song but quite prophetic in others like children of the revolution. There are loads of songs that everyone has heard but not sure who they by but a lot of them are by T rex.... Read review
