Disadvantages: Some songs last a long time, but you might like that!

...Last year Carlos Santana won at the Grammy's with his single Smooth. The album Supernatural is no exception. With fantastic songs such as Maria Maria, Smooth etc. which have both been hit singles, the music on this album is fantastic! The lyrics are awesome, with Maria Maria coming out tops - "Oh, Maria Maria, she reminds mem of a west side story, growing up in Spanish Harlem, she's living the life just like a movie star, Oh, Maria Maria!" etc. etc. There are guest appearances including mary J Blige, Rob Thomas. Advantages: Good quality guitar playing with superb vocals

...This was the first album by Carlos Santana I bought and I have to admit I found it very addictive. I found that the best two songs on the album are 'Smooth' which features Rob Thomas and 'Maria Maria' which features Wyclef Jean and Jerry Duplessias. 'Smooth' was the first single to be released from the album which spent a long time in the UK charts this year. 'Maria Maria' is the latest single to be released from the album and has a larger emphasis on his guitar playing skills. This is a brilliant album which also includes vocals from Dave Matthews, Lauryn Hill, Mana, Eagle Eye Cherry and the superb Eric Clapton. I bought this CD for £9.99 which is outstanding value for a top album which has won variuous music awards. A good quality album for anyone looking to buy a new CD.... Read review

Advantages: It's a classic and brilliantly sung
Disadvantages: some people with ignore it as it is a musical

.... Tony (Romeo) falls for Maria (Juliette) and they are members of rival gangs the Jets and Sharks respectively. When Maria's brother finds out there is all hell to pay, ha challenged the Jets to a best fighter verses best fighter but then at the fight things get out of the hand and Bernado (Maria's brother) kills Riff (Jet leader) and Tony kills Bernado and then has to run from the poilce. As with Romeo and Juliette the end is tragic and young love is wickedly cut short.... Read review
