Best Of The '60s British Beat Vol.2, The - Various Artists

Advantages: A great album, thathas bought back many pleasant memories
Disadvantages: A pity there a not 100 songs available

...My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the songs contained in this album. Although I was bought up in Australia & my wife in Wales, both of us recalled every song. The amazing thing was after 40 years we knew every song word for word. The album consists of 2 CD's with 60 songs, from artist in UK, Australia and USA. We have a number of LP records that include the songs contained in the album, but we can't play them. The fact that they are all on a CD brings life in 2005 to 60's hits. Hits that would be lost forever if it wasn't for modern technology. We highly recommend this album to those who can remember the 60's and want to relive those great days.... Read review

Advantages: Mixed By Anne Savage, this has to be an advantage!
Disadvantages: Not as extreme as the other Euphoria albums, might not be fast enough for some ravers!

...Brilliant Album by Anne Savage, really worth buying. If your new to this scene its a good starter album because its not as extreme as Euphorias other albums. Cd 1 is by far the "calmer" of the 3 cd's, with mixes by BK, Vinylgroovers. Colin Barratt's remix of "The Future" is awesome. Cd2 has a faster beat and euphoria start living up to their name by Cd 3! With beats like "Real Freaks" by the Tidy Girls, this is a real tune and also "lookin Good" by Lisa Lashes! Cd 3 has to be by far the best of the 3. I really like this album, especially Cd3 where things progress and get faster! Theres some big names and some big tunes! A Cd worth buying!... Read review

...I bought this double album about 2 weeks ago and I was pleased with it because just like the rest of the NOW series, NOW 47 is again jam packed with all the latest hits from the last three months. NOW 47 is the best of the NOW series yet it contains all of the latest releases and also some cracking older ones. Disc one is made up of slower more lovey dovey songs but disc 2 is made up of more up beat club like songs, like Kenkraft 400, time to burn and feel the beat from darude. Over all this double album and the latest in the NOW series is a good buy if you like pop music, but if you would rather the bass of club music then I would recommend Cream Anthems 2001, or NOW Dance 2001....
