Advantages: Some great Songs Disadvantages: Some terrible Songs
...As a proud owner of this album myself I can tell you that by buying it you will not be dissapointed. As an avid fan of 60's music myself, yet not from that era myself, i was as eager as anyone to get my hands on this product regardless!
Personally I enjoyed tracks 3,7, and 9 best. Some of the good old classics!
Admittedly the other ones may have been slightly poorly chosen, but I assume it was some poor uneducated survey collector somewhere who was asked to choose them. Regardless of this I think it is an excellent album.
When the album itself was delivered to me it arrived promptly and in good condition, I am just saying this because i had concerns it may have had been bodged, fortunately I was mistaken ....

Advantages: It rocks Disadvantages: A few iffy tracks
....
The Who - My Generation
Cars in swimming pools? TVs out of windows? Whatever next! That all points to the rock and roll animals that are: The Who. With their signature track that inspired MANY a generation, to stand up, be counted, and rock!!!
T-Rex - 20th Century Boy
A typical T-Rex song, backing singers going 'ooo', retro 60s sounding guitars and some brilliantly odd lyrics. Fantastic.
Paul McCartney - All Shook Up

"Negatives" by Basil Kirchin.
Nostalgia: we've got excerpts from The Clangers soundtrack and also Bod. Yes, Bod. I can hear the brain cells firing up already in anticipation of that famous piccolo(?) sound we heard way back then.
The Mike Sammes Singers also do their bit in this area, by giving us the Timex ad from the 60's (see my review of "Music...
