Disadvantages: Some terrible Songs

...As a proud owner of this album myself I can tell you that by buying it you will not be dissapointed. As an avid fan of 60's music myself, yet not from that era myself, i was as eager as anyone to get my hands on this product regardless! Personally I enjoyed tracks 3,7, and 9 best. Some of the good old classics! Admittedly the other ones may have been slightly poorly chosen, but I assume it was some poor uneducated survey collector somewhere who was asked to choose them. Regardless of this I think it is an excellent album. When the album itself was delivered to me it arrived promptly and in good condition, I am just saying this because i had concerns it may have had been bodged, fortunately I was mistaken .... Advantages: everything !
Disadvantages: not enough tracks

...GREAT! all the best songs one one album i hate it when you buy a comelation cd and you only listen to a few tracks on the first c.d well not this one ! this have many many of the best 60's grooving tracks and i would reccomend this to anyone that it interested in that era, i have it pklaying in my car with the window down and the sun shining through ! however it could have more of the likes of the who and the kinks but apart form a few missing artists i cannot fault the quality also i havent seen this c.d in the generall high street shops and i must say its abrgain at the price and its allways good to have these classic songs on c.d and not have to dig out the record collection everytime you want to remember the old days.... Advantages: A great album, thathas bought back many pleasant memories
Disadvantages: A pity there a not 100 songs available

...My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the songs contained in this album. Although I was bought up in Australia & my wife in Wales, both of us recalled every song. The amazing thing was after 40 years we knew every song word for word. The album consists of 2 CD's with 60 songs, from artist in UK, Australia and USA. We have a number of LP records that include the songs contained in the album, but we can't play them. The fact that they are all on a CD brings life in 2005 to 60's hits. Hits that would be lost forever if it wasn't for modern technology. We highly recommend this album to those who can remember the 60's and want to relive those great days.... Read review
