More 70s Show fun

Advantages: Complete season, engaging, witty, funny
Disadvantages: Too much emphasis on story

As my other reviews of That 70s Show DVD box sets may have shown, if you have read them before, I am an avid fan of this sitcom, set in that grand decade of peace and free loving: the '70s. And season 5? Definitely one of the best. The Premise That 70s Show revolves mostly around a group of six friends living in the fictional town of Point Place, which is situated in Wisconsin (which is real, incidentally). This season takes place between 1978 and 1979, nearing the end of the decade. In its fifth year, That 70s Show is still going strong, and though - as I've mentioned in my review of the season four box set - much of the comedy is transposable, it still includes its 1970s look and feel and the jokes that will appeal to the veterans of the decades - fond mentions of Happy Days, the long-standing mystery of 'how many ...

Review of That 70s Show - Series 5 - Complete (DVD)

The very best of 70's comedy!

Advantages: Very funny, can be watched over and over
Disadvantages: None at all!

and again and again??.. I am a bit confused as to the current price of this collection. If you look on www.play.com it gives the price as £17.99 as opposed to the RRP of £39.99. I am not sure whether this is the 5 DVD collection though, as the picture shows a box with 3 DVDs in it and the write up says a collection of 6 DVDs so who knows? This has to be one of the best Christmas presents ever as far as I am concerned and if you like your 70's comedy this is well worth the investment. ...

The Best Country Rock Bank of the 70's

Advantages: All the best hits on 2 DVDS
Disadvantages: Absolutely None
