...and this was just after Fame had come out. The cds are correct in every detail to the original records and are great. I was just leaving school in the early 80s and during CDs 2 and 3 becoming a young woman out on the town with the girls. Boy did this cd take me back. I went to see Nena in concert and can sing 99 red balloons in German. Mel and Kim and Respectable, gorgeous looking twins, one sadly died of cancer. I was 18 when this came out and went on a Club 18/30 holiday. This Cd would be recommended for all you 30 somethings or people who love the music of the 80's. Whilst typing this out, I am singing and bobbing around to the music. With the current revival of the 80's going on this is a must for youngsters as well. Advantages: Great songs from the 80's
Disadvantages: A few one hit wonders

...FANTASTIC 80'S 2 Since I remember quite a bit of this 80's music growing up with it I wanted to review this double CD album. This is probably the best out of the three of them and has songs on it most of you will remember. The CD's cover a wide range of this 80's music and is highly enjoyable (if you liked the music that is !!) Both disks have hits from them that reached number one in the charts at the time and bring back good memories from my schooldays. The first disk contains : 1. Club Tropicana by WHAM - This single was released in 1983 just as the band was taking off and this was probably one of their biggest hits that made them, this had a bright colourful music video for the time. 2. Advantages: 18 Wonderful Number one Tracks from the 80's
Disadvantages: None

...makes up for in content. As many of you will know from my previous reviews one of my pasions is 80's music, and the beauty with this album is that although all the tracks were number one singles, very few of them appear on other compilation albums. Although the album was particularly cheap, I don't feel cheated by the quality of the tracks on offer. Track Listing 1. Duran Duran - The Reflex Not the Brummie boys greatest offering (Rio, Save A Prayer and Girls on Film probably do it for me) but a decent enough track to kick start the album. 2. Midge Ure - If I Was Midge is probably best known for his role with Bob Geldof in getting Live Aid up and running, but he was also a successful artist with Ultravox before embarking on a solo career which culminated in this huge hit.
