Advantages: great collection Disadvantages: some tracks missing that should be here
...duran were to the 80's what take that were to the early nineties and the baycityrollers to the 70's. here is a semi definitve collection of the best of duran, from planet earth and up to and including electric barbarella, with old faves such as the reflex and wild boys. This is a superb album for fans old and new. there are some noticable exclusions such as do you believe in shame, but its still a cracking album and well worth buying vheck out the video collection as well its a beauty....

Advantages: were Fab in their time Disadvantages: were bad at the end!
...I was brought up with sweet from a very early age as my mum was mad about them and then I was too!!
The quality of their songs was always underated as other bands at the time such as The BayCityRollers, Mud etc , always seemed to steal the limelight as they were more kiddy orientated!
I saw sweet twice once in the 70's and the once only a year before Brian died!
They were all talented , Andy was an exceptional guitar player, able to cover rock-ballads, and Steve the guitarist!!, who I remember wore more makeup than I ever did!!, but he looked well glam, then there was Mick on drums and Brian on vocals. At his peak Brian was one of the best, he belted out with such gusto!, however the last time I saw them he was a wreck, shaking, fat and couldnt hold a note!!, it seems a pity that they try to continue when they obviously arnt up to it...

Advantages: Great music and lyrics, well written and performed Disadvantages: Songs tend to be a bit long
...While the BayCityRollers have always been my favorite group, I love Meat Loaf too. I know these acts are so different from each other that it can be really hard to believe that anyone could like both. So go ahead and call me crazy.
I don’t know if I can put my finger on any one quality that Meat Loaf has that I like about his music any more than I could about the BayCityRollers.
For me, it’s a combination of things. I like hard rock anyway, especially since some the best rock bands, like Heart, comes out of Seattle and I just live on the other side of the state in Spokane. But I digress.
What I like about Meat Loaf is that he can be so hard rock in a song and in that same song do this about face and the song becomes slower, kind of tender and, well, sometimes almost loving.
I particularly like Meat Loaf’s CD, Bat of Hell 2: Back...
