...Good Vibrations: Thirty Years of The BeachBoys" is one of the finest compilations of a major musical artist yet released. Inside, you will find an exceptionally well-chosen selection of BeachBoy hits, album tracks, alternate takes, experiments and other assorted oddities. There are no essential songs or performances missing, although one might quibble about not finding a personal favourite among the extensive track listing. Even then, I'll wager that the compilers at Capitol have second-guessed even the most fervent BeachBoys fanatics. Here is the proof as to why in some circles Brian Wilson is considered a pop music genius on the order of a Paul McCartney or a Stevie Wonder. The sound is terrific, given that the original recordings have some unusual imbalances and are very trebly--no doubt due to Brian Wilson's rumoured deafness...

...elbow beach is the best album Louise had recorded. She has written most of the tracks herself and it is about hef own life. If you listen to the lyrics I think they describle life very well.
If you are a louise fan then this album is a must because there are some very personal tracks in it. (ie. first kiss) The name of her album Elbow beach is where she and Jamie Redknapp got married.
Some of the track in the album are especially good: beautiful inside, city boy fix, first kiss and eqyptian queen....

...risen to the top and supplanted bands like the BeachBoys, Mamas and the Papas, Lovin' Spoonful etc. Of course there were other factors there too, but they had been turned into pop dinosaurs overnight..
There had been 10 months between Good Vibrations and Heroes and Villains, the next 10 months had resulted in an unfulfilled promise of Smile appearing, but had resulted in an album that although Brian had a hand on, did not want or would not take the responsibility of producing it. This just had the credit of being produced by the Beachboys. The album was a collection of Smile bits and pieces, out takes and unrelated pieces. There is clearly under production in many areas. The remastered version has included more out takes, however this has completed the historical perceptive and is very interesting as a BeachBoys fan.
