Advantages: 42 tracks and many great ones in those Disadvantages: a couple of weak tracks
...If you just want to buy one album this year, buy this one, it's brilliant ! I was looking for a compilation album that had all my favourite tracks on and this is the one, well worth the money.
It is a double CD with a total of forty two tracks on ! Of course, there are some that I have to fast forward (Sisqo's Thong Song, for example !) but there are so many great tracks on here - Mel B, Mel C, Craig David's awesome 'Seven Days', the Big Brother theme, Five / Queen, Robbie Williams' 'Rock DJ', Kylie, Britney, Billie and many, many more.
Highly recommended !...

Advantages: She has a music style to cater for all tastes Disadvantages: She gets slagged to much her private life should stay private
...solo number 1 with "I Turn To You" Mel had dance floors burning from Ibiza to Manahttan with big names screaming to get a chance to mix this tune.
This is a classic song and hailed as one of the dance anthems of this year, so from the not to solid start with rock diva and the aptly named "Going Down" Mel has climbed straight to the top and realised what her fans really want and that is pure hard pop with a little of the rock edge.
Well done Mel keep up the good work Northern Star is one of the best albums around at the moment and is well worth a look, even now when I can't find my "Going Down" single I know I can always turn to the album as it is a grower.......

Saxed Up Review ofYou Inspire Me - Curtis Stigersby
mornev
Advantages: Beautiful arrangements of well loved classic songs. Disadvantages: I can't save the six minute video to my PC.
....
A music review on Curtis Stigers' new album 'You Inspire Me' gave the singer/jazzman five stars. Even more exciting were the reviews for his UK tour earlier in the year promoting the album. The critics were ecstatic over his life performances where he snarled, crooned and scat in ways comparable to Tony Bennet as well as playing the saxophone. The controversial point for many music lovers is that this whole album consists of cover versions. OK! I can hear many of you. Cover versions are never a patch on the original-but please wait.
Curtis Stigers has re-emerged as a jazz singer. Consider a blend of Chet Baker, the trumpet playing jazz singer, and phrasing similar to our own Annie Ross along with Tony Bennet and even a touch of MelTorme, and dare I say-even Frank. The Curtis Stigers' album 'You Inspire Me' is labelled an 'Enhanced CD'. I...
