Best Western Hotel, Dublin.

Advantages: Close to tram stop and airport bus stop.
Disadvantages: Can get quite busy with people checking in & out.

I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last few years. Its quite a way outside the main Temple-Bar area but is right by the tram stops. As the trams run very regularily getting about is easy. The hotel is very close to Houston rail station. If you fly into Dublin airport one of the many buses outside the airport will take you to the station and the hotel is about a 3 minute walk away. The rooms are sparce and basic but suitable. The breakfast is very good and you certainly wont want for a large lunch. This is a big fry-up with all the trimmings. The cost of the hotel is middle of the road but reasonable for what you get. Yes its reasonably basic inside but you get what you pay for. The Best Hotel In Dublin

Advantages: Too many to list,Service,Food,Pool,Location,Rooms,Decor
Disadvantages: Expensive but worth every penny

I spent three nights here last Valentines having eaten in The Cellar resturaunt on a previous visit to Dublin. This time we ate in The Patrick Guilbaud - a two michelin starred resturaunt also inside the hotel. We had lunch on Valentines day and it was absolutely fantastic, the service was second to none, as it is in the rest of the hotel, nobody can do enough for you cleaners stop to open doors for you, and the desk and bar staff are brilliant. We thought the staff must be on double money permenantly as we have never stayed at a hotel with such good service before. The room was just a standard one but was spacious and very nicely decorated and the bathroom was italian marble. It was probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in, taking everything into account and we hope to return next year with my parents as it is their 40th wedding ...

Heart of Dublin

Advantages: welcoming, clean, central
Disadvantages: restaurant price

which is their tram is 10 minutes walk. I found this hotel to be in an excellent location although I was sick and tired of walking by the end. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to make a stop in Dublin without having to pay a phenomenal amount of money. All rooms have a Yellow Pages equivalent so that you can find your way and the TV is a good reception, also lots of sockets. To book a room just go to http://www.jurysdoyle.com/ for a great deal. All hotels have photos to show what they look like and the Parnell ones are very accurate. They have more than one hotel in Dublin though but I'd say this is the best location for those wanting to be near everything including Temple Bar the main nightlife area. ...
