...I brought this item as a gift for my parents yet can't stop playing this CD. With the famous Uptown girl and tell her about it I was lost in the old days. Each song is top quality and differs from sad songs to the upbeat songs that have turned into remixes, not doing the singles any good. Obviously it requires a different music taste but I do recommend to buyers. The best songs on the album are, in my opinion, Tell Her About It, Uptown Girl and the best song without a doubt is River Of Dreams. A great sing along CD with plenty of passion sung through out. This CD cost me £11.99 with a high street shop but could now be brought far cheaper. A great present for anybody, epically the elder generation. This is unquestionably the song for which Gerry Rafferty will be best remembered, but this 54-year-old Scotsman has been around the music scene since the late sixties, and has produced many fine albums. ~ ~ Gerry Rafferty was born in Paisley in Scotland in 1947, and after cutting his musical teeth with various bands in the local working men’s clubs, pubs, and dance halls, hooked up with two other Scot’s “jimmys”, one of who you will know very well.
