Loco is the Fun Lovin Criminals' third real album and certainly not the best one they have produced but still a reasonable album....

Advantages: songwriting, emotion, creativity, sonics Disadvantages: only thirty six minutes of it!
...Spoon have always garnered critical acclaim, some likening their early sound to that of Pixies, Pavement and other such alternative guitar bands. And yet their sound is undeniably unique; every new record gathers the nuances of previous records and somehow finds something fresh to bring to the mix. Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga is no exception: at a meagre 36 minutes, it manages to encompass a variety of emotions as well as mysterious sonics. It's the attention to detail and raw sentiment that makes this record possibly their best since A Series Of Sneaks.

Don't Make Me A Target: From somewhere emerges an echo-y two-note guitar riff, soon joined by stuttering drums and Britt Daniel's inimitable vocal - agressive, snarly: here's a man with something to say, and he'll make sure he's heard. ...I’ve got to admit that I was barely listening to the Fun Lovin’ Criminals when they first appeared in the UK. This was more the era of my older brother, which then rubbed off onto my mum, which in turn I grew up listening to. So when the greatest hits album was released a few months back I thought I’d set aside my £8.99 on cdwow.co.uk to get all the best hits of the Fun Lovin’ Criminals (…and this way I could secretly replace all of the previous albums I had nabbed out of my brothers room-hehe).
