Advantages: The Pete Townshend "magnum opus"; the finest production by The Who. Symphonic in its magnitude; superb songs, playing, arrangements
Disadvantages: Takes a little concentration and study - but then don't all great works of art?

...This is a really great collectors piece consisting of 5 cds , a video tape , booklet & a mini comic book in a keepsake box . The cds in this box set are as follows INITIUM UNHOLY PASSION NOVEMBER COMING FIRE FINAL DESCENT LIVE 85 86 ONE mini comic book depicting what can only be described as a fantasy of a Glenn Danzig dream . the comic book is interesting and is in black & white . The book that comes with this box set contains photos as well as the lyrics to Initium and November Coming Fire . Still , you do not get the lyrics to Unholy Passion for some strange reason . The video is really great to watch as the band does 2 shows live . The footage was unreleased until this box set became available . I myself own this box set & i can tell you that i really enjoy it & it remains in my private... Read review

Advantages: An incredible collection of ballads and rock themes from an influencial band of the Sixties..
Disadvantages: One can read too much in the ballads...

Before dying in a fatal cycling accident in Ibiza in 1988, the German girl joined the band briefly. In 1966, Nico and the band set about working hard on their debut album titled 'The Velvet Underground and Nico.' Self explanatory one suspects.
