...you feeling a little bit 'heady' and reeling in its gloriousness. It's a 'shouting it from the roof-tops' love declaration and a track that shows Kenny Jones' drumming skills at their best. 'Watchya Gonna Do About It?' and 'Hey Girl' are classic 1960's rock and roll tunes: The Small Faces before they matured into the soulful sound that is now more associated with them. Think more Cliff Richards and early Beatles as comparison. I personally fail to be inspired by these earliler efforts, but for those of you who enjoy the early days of r&r and r&b, these two tracks will not fail to disappoint. 'Rollin Over' and 'Lazy Sunday' are the notable tracks from the widely acclaimed, 1968 concept album 'Ogdens Nut Gone Flake'. The difference in these two tunes is worlds apart. Advantages: The pinnacle of punk rock greatness!

...Punk Rock doesn’t exactly have a small fan base these days, so I was surprised to see that no-one had bothered to review any albums by the ‘Best Punk Band in the World’ ™. Seriously though, if you are a punk rock fan and haven’t heard anything by Face To Face, then I seriously recommend that you take a listen as soon as possible!! Their fantastic rhythm and catchy songs make them far and away my favourite punk band, and this album especially, shows off some of the best that they have to offer. ‘Disconnected’ is fantastic, and one of the bands most famous tracks, and ‘A-OK’, ‘Velocity’ and ‘It’s Not Over’ will stick with you wherever you go. But lets face it, all the tracks on this outstanding album make for great listening. I know that this is the opinion of a fan but I really can’t describe how great they are. I think it’s time... ...Released in 1971 this shows that the faces could match the Stones in terms of Swagger if not in terms of musical consistancy. The stand out track is "Stay with Me" which highlights the band's interest in the ladies while also sounding as if it has been produced after the consumption of a lot of booze - probably their 2 main interests. Other rockers are "Miss Judy's Farm" and "You're so rude" which highlight how excellant it would have been to see the Faces in a small club setting - very in your face. These are set off nicely by "Debris" sung by Ronnie Lane a much more delicate track showing they were much more than a one trick pony. Broken up by Rod's increasing success this shows how good Rod actually once was.... Read review
