Advantages: Superb music. Disadvantages: Not a thing
...~ ~ Now and again a fresh musical talent comes along that gives the lie to the notion that all music these days is cast from the same mould, and produced purely to appeal to the mass commercial market.
Such a talent is this young man, 26-year-old Iain Mackinnon, from Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, who is making a big impact with his debut solo album, ‘Best Seat In The House’, released in August of last year. (2003)

Advantages: A number of brilliant tracks, some of which show great potential. Disadvantages: Demo recordings so sound quality can be poor.

Almost Heaven, West Virgina, Blue Ridge Mountain, Shanando River, Life is Old there, Older than the Tree's, Younger than the Mountains, Blowing like the Breeze, Take me Home Country Roads, Back to the Place I Belong, West Virgina, Mountain Moma, Take me Home, now Country Roads!
With this song Denver really had sucess, it reached No.2 in the U.S.
It was this year that he released his third album, "Poems, Prayers and Promises" this is one I have upstairs...
