...brings a welling in the stomach every time, I have to listen with the volume turned right way up high. The other tracks are others from the series, fans will remember Hagman's excellent lyrics, particularly on Over the Hills and Far Away, no doubt the most famous of them all. Rambling Soldier is probably my favourite, it shows off Tam's voice and I love the lyrics. Broken Hearted I will Wander features a woman's singing who I believe is the folk singer Kate Rusby, which is a lovely touch and breaks up the sound of the overall cd well. The gorgeous Irish tone to the voice adds authenticity and I think this song is really emotional and beautiful. Love Farewell is also a special song with again stunning vocals. Advantages: One of the most Romantic concertos around, full of beautiful melodies and passion
Disadvantages: over-recorded

Other new works presented at the concert also included the Cello Sonata, the cantata Spring, a piano prelude in G minor and the twelve songs of Op.21. The Concerto was dedicated to Dr. Dahl, and it is through this work that his name is best remembered today. The Second Concerto is cast in C minor, and it is this work that defined the sound of Rachmaninov for years to come. Gone were the more modern aspects of his First Symphony, and instead Rachmaninov created a virtuoso concerto in the 19th century Romantic tradition of Tchaikovsky, full of pathos, heart-on-sleeve romanticism and magnificently lyrical melodies around every turn. Advantages: best music ever!

...I remember wanting this album for soooo long, and once I finally got it I just couldn't stop listening to it! The songs themselves are just great. After listening to them for a few seconds you're wanting to sing along with them XD *hums tunes*Really, I can't convey how great this album is! Now don't be shocked from the artist name "Bill Jones" for they are actually female o.O This album comprises of traditional British folk music, including flute/whistle, piano, guitar, strings as well as other forms of accompaniment.
