Advantages: Fun, Racy Tracks Disadvantages: Songs aren't labeled by which band wrote them.
...I bought the album, The specials and fun boy three from a music store in Birmingham town centre with my last two pounds as it was the last one on the shelf and it was the best £2 i ever spent! This is a brilliant abum featuring Neville Staple and his guest band with special appearences from Jane Wiedlin Jennifer and Leila Avila.
The front cover design is based on traditional ska style with the black and white check and fully dressed Rude Boys, Pork Pies and all!
The album inclides ska classics such as,
-Ghost Town (which hit number one in 1981)
-A message to you rudy
-Our lips are sealed

Advantages: Good Songs, Good Lyrics and Good Album Disadvantages: One or Two Songs Aren't As Good As The Rest
...you're tight now,
coz everything looking pretty real alright now.'
These are a few lines from the first verse. There is some great lines in his verse, plus some good advice, telling us to forget about the bad things right now and just chill out and have a laugh.
The chorus starts which is sung by the squeaky voice. It's a great chorus, real catchy with a proper R'n'B sound.
The second verse is by Trademarc who tells us the same as John, just chill out, have a laugh, respect your family, don't worry about the people past on as they are still here for you in spirit and so on. Make the best of life and don't be ungrateful is what this song is basically saying.
After the second chorus John and trademark share the third verse which is another one I love, especially John's bit.
'Right now, I'm so in love to my brothers and my old man...

Advantages: Great sound and fantastic lyrics - a beautiful album. Disadvantages: Too short!!! You'll wish it was twice as long and you'll put it on repeat!

He does with music what I try to do with paint and canvas, and he does it with a quiet grace that is not often evident in the up-and-coming music scene. I hope I do his work justice in this review!
***The Artist***
John Egdell is a man of much talent. Born in Gateshead, he has spent much of his life fiddling about with music, and guitars in general, though as far as I know, there's not much by way of musical instruments he can't play. Give him a shaky-egg and he'll blooming shake it and by god there'll be rhythm and blues somewhere in the noise it makes!
Quite simply, he is a gentleman...
