Vickers' unique voice seems to deliver a new dynamic to this Wagner Aria. It carries with it an uncertain, uneasy tone that heightens the listener's senses. A very new listening experience for me.
Track 15: Una furtiva lagrima Sung by LucianoPavarotti
He freezes all who listen and then lifts them up to the heavens!!!! Well for about 4 minutes he does anyway! OUTSTANDING!!!
Track 16: Se quel guerrier Sung by PlácidoDomingoDomingo allows his technique to adjust for this demanding aria best listened to while hiding behind the couch or in another room.
Track 17: Ecco, ridente in cielo sung by Luigi Alva and Renato Cesari
Wonderful dynamics. The listener's ears are going to be awash with a varying contrast of timbre and diversity.

"One way ticket" is Luciano's fifth album, released in December of 1995. This album was his first on the VP label, which preceded many others.

1. "Black Survivor" - Has a very catchy chorus with uplifting verses to a very bassy beat. (4/5)
2. "Chant Down Babylon" - The chorus and the melodies of African drums is by far the best aspect of this song. (4/5)
3. "One Way Ticket" - My favourite song on the whole album. Even though the chorus and verses all have a very conscious message, Luciano's extraordinary vocal skills just captivates the listener. (5/5)
4. "Ragamuffin" - refers to the hardships of the times, with a sort of 'old skool" feel to it even for the 90's! (3/5)
5. "Bounty Lover" (with Lady G) - A classic love song featuring Lady G. Her dancehall style lyrics actually complement Luciano's singing ...
Advantages: Keen. Cool, Quick. Disadvantages: Lacks experience in Formula I
The 25 year old Brazilian driver Luciano Burti is at present far from being a household name but,deptusing at very short notice after Eddie Irvine was taken ill with suspected appendicitis,the young Brazilian performed creditably in the Austrian Grand Prix.
Jaguar's ,technical director,Gary Anderson, praised Luciano for getting the Jaguar Cosworth car on to the grid and finishing the race in 11 th place. According to Gary, "...For someone thrown in at the deep end,Luciano did a very good job,considering we didn't give him the best opportunity with his gearbox problems."
