...When I say that my grandmother's maiden name was Davies, and that she was the last person in the family who had any understanding of the Welsh language, you will probably understand why I love Welsh choral music so much. Well, apart from the fact that Wales is truly the land of song, with the best history of choral music in the entire world., that is!
This CD (produced by EMI and Music for Pleasure) has a wide range of Welsh MalevoiceChoirs from all over Wales. The competition between the different choirs and indeed the different parts of Wales are fiercely competitive. But the strong, intense rivalry is always friendly. Well, MOST of the time, that is!

Advantages: Beautiful Music Disadvantages: Hard to find copies
...If you like malevoicechoirs, you will love this album!
Its rather hard to find a copy, but occasionally one turns up in the form of cassette, record, or very rarely, cd.

Advantages: Hugely original, perfectly suits the mood of the film Disadvantages: perhaps a bit tough going without the images.

Who but Ennio Morricone could combine almost Monty Python like silly voices with twangy guitars, lush strings, strange flutes and a malevoicechoir to make a perfect accompaniment to the final and best of the Dollars trilogy. Director Sergio Leone's highly original visual style (be it sometimes over the top) demanded the same with the music and in Morricone he certainly got that. This is probably best defined in the final sequence where the three protagonists are searching for the gold in the graveyard and the tense shoot out that follows. The music amplifies the heat and suspense to an almost unbearable crescendo.
A classic soundtrack....
