Advantages: insert opinion here Disadvantages: the long wait until volume 2
...- Photograph - 4:06
This is a real classic song from Def Leppard. Steve Clark and Phil Collen are two amazing guitar players and did not let anyone down with this hit. The start is a piece of guitar music which I could listen to over and over again, the rest is not that worse.
9/10
9. The Troggs - Wild Thing - 2:34
A short and sweet melody from the Troggs. It is the original and best; as is so often the case; no other band has ever replicated the song as good as the Troggs.
8/10
10. David Bowie - Rebel Rebel - 4:30
This is a great classic song with yet another foot-tapping guitar intro. The lyrics do not let the song down, I personally think that this is David Bowie's best song, at least his best song guitar-wise.

11. Jeff Beck With Terry Bozzio & Tony Hymas - Where Were You - 3:15
This is one of two songs without lyrics. I like...

Advantages: It rocks Disadvantages: A few iffy tracks
...of simply epic proportions.
The Troggs - Wild Thing
Three chords. Just three chords. Magnificent.
Covered by huge signed acts and garage bands alike, this record is one of the best known songs on the planet.
David Bowie - Rebel Rebel
Ziggy rocks us hard and fast with this fantastic display of remarkably 'un-fancied-up' guitar tones (Very unlike Mr. B...), vocals are particularly memorable, and undeniably Bowie.
Jeff Beck - Where Were You
This track slows it down to a long and melodic trip through wailing harmonics, beautiful slide guitar, and psychodelic reverberations. Woah dudes. Trippy.
Joe Walsh - Rocky Mountain Way
Driving rock at its best. This formidable track beats the monkey of all other chugging guitar riffs. You can almost hear the trucker horns just thinking about it...
Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing...

...' by The Troggs. It just does nothing for me, and the grainy sound, which at times is distinctly out of tune just switches me off.
Want to up the tempo a little? Then 'Rebel Rebel' by David Bowie is just what you need. Another song which is perfect for inclusion here even if you only count the first 10 seconds of foot stomping guitar riffs, and as an added bonus the lyrics are sublime. Strut around to your hearts content, but make sure you sit down for the wailing guitars of Jeff Beck's 'Where Were You'. Admittedly I have never heard any of Beck's material before hearing this track, and whilst I understand it's addition on the CD, it is just not for me, and the first minute of so reminded me of The Shadows. Much the same can be said for Track 12, 'Rocky Mountain' by Joe Walsh. (Who is he? Answers in the comments please!). A true classic if ever...
