This is another song that I really love on this soundtrack. It is very 'David Bowie' sounding and "Airplay" really do remind me of him anyway. It is a very eighties sounding song that is quite nicely sang by Airplay and tells a story of someone?s life going from bad to worse. It also tells of being stressed out with everything in their life and being very close to the edge of suicide. I really like the lyrics to this track and think it?s a lovely song that suits the movie very well.

This is just beautiful and very well presented. This is a theme tune and it's a really well created one by David Foster. It has a lovely soft melody to most of it from being played on a keyboard, to gentle orchestra sounds, that are very calming to listen to. It's a really greattheme tune, that fits this Movie superbly. It's a very sad theme ...

The Fountain is a phenomenal film and to accompany or even to aid it in being in such good stead, it has a brilliant soundtrack to go along with it.
Along with ?Mogwai?, who are already established as creators of ?alternate? sounding music, they help to create the many wondrous sounds and background music that play throughout the movie.
As each song on the album list plays, it corresponds to the position it is played in the film; to start-off with there is the slightly eerie and mysterious dangers of the rainforest which the opening track captures as best it could, rising the mood in the many to come in the rest of the CD. The rest of the tracks range from sombre, sad, deep, dark and unique blends of sounds the best of which are constructed using the sound of the violin.
In the CD/Film finale the track leads the listener through ...
Advantages: At least it contains a couple of good songs Disadvantages: Most songs are not played in the movie
&B which generally fit the free-spirited personality of Will Smith.
The Packaging
The cover of the soundtrack CD has good layout with Will Smith and Kevin Kline in the front cover. On the inside cover inlay, the picture if Will Smith, Kevin Kline and Salma Hayek's picture wearing old-style western-design suits is featured. It's the worst picture of gorgeous Salma Hayek that I have ever seen yet. On the face of the CD itself, a big letter W appears in black & white with a golden Wild Wild West print. The titles of the tracks are not listed on the face of the CD. So, if I am going to lose the cover, I won't exactly know which number of track to play.
The way the CD is packed, anyone can easily mistaken it as a movie DVD without Salma Hayek in the front picture. It's good that the phrase 'music inspired by the motion picture' appears ...
