As soon as I learnt that Zero 7 had a new album out, I had to get it. When I got Yeah Ghost, I was surprised however. This music was happy. And uplifting. It wasn't Zero 7, but it was good. I looked it up to see that this was somewhat a "new direction for them."
Released this September, Yeah Ghost is a marvelous album for those who like Trip-Hop or Psychedelic Jazz. It generally follows Zero 7's style, except for the attitude of the music. It is more poppy and happier.
One of the most memorable songs from the album was "Medicine Man." It was happier and made me feel better than any other work of Zero 7.
Yeah, Ghost is yet another great CD from Zero 7. New, happier sound for them, though. New but good. Good amount of music and even better songs. The quality far outweighs the price.
I loved this album.
