Not a great fan of compliations normally, because there are always at least five tracks that you think 'they just put those tracks on to fill the disc up'. But I have to say that every single track on the two discs are worthy of the 'Best Power Ballads'.
The thirty-nine tracks cover three decades of music from the seventies plus one track from 2001. Beacause I am a major fan of the eighties, the bonus with this double album is that twenty-six of the thirty-nine tracks are from the eighties and are just brilliant, ranging from Broken Wings by Mr. Mister, Drive by The Cars to Black Velvet by Alannah Myles.
I drive on average 400 miles a week so to have this album in the car is a godsend. It's amazing how your memory can remember all of the lyrics to songs twenty years ago, but you can't remember what you did last week..well I can't anyway!
If you love the eighties, mellow rock/pop and just a good old sing along you must get this album.

I'm sorry this cd does not have a track on it that you like, but as it states in the highway code of Ciao, your opinion should "Be written with reference to your personal experience of the product or service you have selected". Also I believe to have the track listing is very helpful if you were interested in buying the CD.

Sorry for the FH, but 2/3 of the review is the tracklisting, rather than your opinion of the album. And any power ballads collection missing Thunder's "Love Walked In" has made the wrong choice!
