Advantages: Includes the classics from the best Disney films Disadvantages: Has some less well known tracks that you might end up skipping
This triple cd full of Disney classics is a must buy for any Disney fan. As well as songs from the classic films such as Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, The Jungle Book, The Lion King and many more, there are various tracks from less well known films which are just as enjoyable.
There are generally one or two songs selected from each film and so if you arent listening to your favourite, it is sure to come up on the next cd. The songs are the originals from the film and so you can sing along without having to worry about the pace or lyrics changing. This is common with some other film soundtracks!
With three cds of Disney tunes there are hours of entertainment for you and your friends. This is a fantastic triple cd set to have in any collection, whether you like Disney alot...or not so much! It is fun, upbeat and takes ...
Advantages: Great value for 3 CDs, plenty of songs for all the family to enjoy. Disadvantages: Some periods of slow, lesser known tracks in a row.
I bought this CD for my 6 year old Disney obsessed daughter. Great value as you get 3 CDs. All of the CDs have tracks that you and your children will recognise and know enough to sing along to, which is great for long car journeys.
There is a good mixture of older Disney songs from films and TV, such as 'Have you ever seen an elephant fly' from Dumbo, and newer ones such as 'Breaking free' from High School Musical, with plenty of variety on all 3 CDs.
My only criticism is that at some points on the CDs there are several slow, lesser known tracks in succession from films such as Tarzan and Mulan, which can be a bit dull.
This CD can be enjoyed by adults and children alike, but I suspect once boys hit about 6 years old they would just think 'yuk' this is for girls, but luckily we haven't hit that point yet.
Overall, it is well worth ...
Advantages: great selection of christmas classics Disadvantages: singers doing covers of good songs,
- Peace.
We also have Michael Andrews & Gary Jules - Mad World. So if anybody out there is feeling miserable or down this year, might be wise to skip past this downright depressing song before the piano does its tinkling introduction.
'And I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad. The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had'
Don't get me wrong I do like the song, but just because it was a christmas number 1 doesn't mean you need to stick it on an album which has so far managed to be reasonably up beat. You wouldn't put Bob the Builders Can we Fix it? or Girls Alouds Sound of the Underground on a christmas album, (well I hope not anyway) so why put on a track which could make you want to put your head in a gas oven?
Overall I do love this album. Yes I did say love!! I've had it for a couple of years now and I ...
