Advantages: A great betting website Disadvantages: Can become addictive
I'm sure most of us out there love a cheeky flutter every now and again. However, myself included, many find going into the bookies an intimidating thing with in filled with either old blokes or chavs playing the roulette wheels. So, for those with an 'agoraphobic' approach, you can stay at home and use this little beauty - bet365.com
Of course, those who refuse to bet on anything then this website will have little or no interest to you whatsoever, but you never know, I could still surprise you!
Being a big sports geek, I solely use the sports section of the website but there are areas dedicated to casino, a specific poker section and 'games' which include things like virtual football and greyhound racing. In my cynical viewpoint however, betting of 'virtual' football is even more of a risk than real-life as the odds or results can be ...

Advantages: Plenty of recording space Disadvantages: Recording ability not available for free
For a long time I refused to get Sky+ because I said we'd never use it. After giving in to pressure and having it installed I cant believe we ever managed without it. There are very few programmes I watch 'live' anymore.
The Sky + box comes with a hard drive that will store approximately 40 hours of TV, which is more than enough for most people, you would need to be an exteme TV watcher to fill the drive, or be the type of person who saves programmes to watch over again.
The best feature of the Sky+ is the ability to pause live TV, very handy if the phone rings or someone comes to the door. You can also rewind live TV, so if you miss what someone has said you can rewind to hear it again.
The Sky+ box has parental controls, so all adult channels can be blocked and a PIN number can be set so children cant watch films that are too ...

Advantages: Series link Disadvantages: Not enough memory
First of all I would like to clarify that I am not a TV addict however I couldn't live without my sky plus box. It has become an everyday essential to my family & I & is in constant use in our household. It's the best thing since sliced bread!
I personally love sky+ & don't think I've come across anyone who doesn't. It's easy to use, practical & fast. I haven't encountered any problems with the box so far however when I had an issue with my bill I phoned the sky+ helpline at 1am & they were happy to help giving friendly efficient advice & immediately solved the problem. I have nothing but praise for sky & would recommend it to anyone. It can be a bit expensive but for all the services it offers I think it is definitely worth paying a bit more & knocks all of the competition straight out of the park.
I have had sky for years now ...

Album Reviews
Entertainment Weekly (1/27/95, p.51) - "...fuller with swirly guitars and some almost-danceable beats. But the focus continues to be on Lois' deadpan alto and her astonishingly evocative lyrics..." - Rating: B Alternative Press (5/95, p.70) - "...a coy, clever stomp of an album, full of melodies that almost, but don't, clobber you unconscious and lyrics that once they've sunk in really gnaw at your senses....All you really hear on BET THE SKY...is Lois' acoustic guitar and her voice limberly reaching around the bend of each chord..." NME (6/10/95, p.51) - 7 (out of 10) - "...provides mostly everything you want from winsome-cum-tough female singer/songwriters....She is straightforward, tuneful and affecting..."
