This album was great; as soon as I herd Deja Vu I knew I would like her album. Beyonce is a great musician and I think she will achieve a lot. Beyonce has a nice mixture of songs in here, they all seem to be in a different genre not just dance or rnb but soul hip-hop, rap and some slow songs. This is great because no one wants to listen to the same types of tracks and even her voice vaiates which majes it even better. Unlike most musicians. Beyonce has gone for a different type of album not one that she would normally do. But in a interview i watched she said "If i wasn't in ream girls i would hve done another Dangerously in love type album". My favourite tracks have to be ring the alarm, upgrade you and suga mama and also get me bodied. Beyonce is a born performer if you have seen her perform great if you havent go on you tube and check her out. I like her performance to either ring the alarm or get me bodied.
The album includes:
Irreplaceable - I did like it at first but I've heard it over and over and over again, so it is a bit annoying but is a good track and deserves 7/10. This song is catchy "To the left to the left".
Green Light - This was a song I was unsure about and I didn't know whether I liked it at first, but now I really do like it. This gets 7/10. This song is also catchy I'll always be humming it. "Go go go go oh oh oh oh"
Kitty Kat - This is a dirty song, I never knew Beyonce was like that lol. It's great 9/10. This beat of this song is in my head.
Upgrade U Feat. Jay-Z - This is so urban and upbeat how could I not like it 10/10. I didn't like jay z at all but now he's woth beyonce I have to learn to adjust.
Get Me Bodied - I do like this track but i prefer the extended version as its longer and on the whole a better song even though its the same up to a certain point. 10/10.
Freakum Dress - This is a nice funky song. 8/10. It's upbeat and fast.
Suga Mama - This seems like an old song modernized. 9/10. I really like this song because of it's style is different.
Deja Vu Feat. Jay-Z - I just love this song a nice collaboration with jay z. 9/10
Ring the Alarm - This is one of my favorites 10/10. I love the way she sings it.
Resentment - nice and slow 6/10
Overall the album is more than O.K but I prefer dangerously in love. That album was more rnb, her style has changed a lot. I was absolutely shocked when I first déjà vu I didn't know what to think of it but I love it, its great. I didn't think beyonce would have done an album like this. I cant wait to hear more from beyonce.
This album i similar to the duluxe but that one is much much much better i have also written a review on that one which is similar to this one as it has some of the same songs.
