Advantages: Great debut solo album from an underground icon
Disadvantages: If you're a King Prawn fan - don't expect more of the same

...capable of writing tracks with political messages which provoke a cerebral response. Babar Luck is a strong solo artist and I expect that their will be plenty more to come from this man. Keep an eager eye out for him in the future as I'm sure that he'll be popping up at a venue near you in the not too distant future. ...Ram Narayan, an expert in the sarangi, is truly a representation of brilliance in his field. not only has he completely mastered the art of the sarangi (a string instrument played with a bow, some what similar to a cello in the style of playing) which in itself is an accomplishment as the sarangi is an awfully challenging instrument, but he has also learnt to render the ragas (musical compositions) and extremely techinical and mathematical taals (rhythmic cycles). Sarangi, i can very confidently say, is an instrument that has the potential for the musician to play his heart out and i would say that ram narayan has done that exactly in this cd. he really knows the in and outs of his ragas and can make a composition finish in 5 minutes or last for 2 hours. this is the mark of a distinguished musician in my opinion. i would reccomend...
