...This is a three CD box set containing 54 funky choones.
Not the best disco album around, but it was on sale (and I couldn't resist) and it has a few songs that aren't on my other albums (and a few that are).
It includes 'Haven't Stopped Dancing Yet' - Gonzalez, 'Somebody Else's Guy' - Jocelyn Brown, 'That's The Way (I like it)' - K C an the Sunshine Band, 'Rock Your Baby' - George Mccrae and 'Ring My Bell' - Anita Ward
Buy it if... You like disco and it's on sale in your local record shop...

Advantages: Flawless vocals, perfect harmonies, more medley's than you could shake a saussage at Disadvantages: A bit scat-heavy in places (singing I mean). American crowds whooping gets on your nerves...
...to a music genre, I would probably have to label him as "coffee-house rock". I know that conjures up images of oversensitive bohemians with designer hair singing about how lovelorn they are but stick with me on this - it'll be worth it. With the exception of the Tonight, Not Again gig, which had a full band, the majority of Mraz gigs consist of himself on lead vocals and acoustic guitar or banjo, Toca Rivera on bongos and backing vocals, and sometimes Ian Sheridan on double bass. There are masses of live recordings floating around in internetland, most of them occurring in small venues such as Schuba's Tavern and Java Joe's.
As far as describing the sound goes....well, I shouldn't really need to. You know what an acoustic guitar, bongo drum and double bass sound like - just stick it all together and there you have it. The tone of the music...
