...". The beat kicks in and its dope, as 2pac lends his vocals first, followed by Big L. 2pac rhymes his typical "fear of death" style of rap, somewhat halfway thuggish / halfway intelligent. Big L gets on the mic and rips it right up, probably a tiny bit outclassing 2pac when it comes to sheer lyrical quality. Even though the track is relatively short, its dope as hell.
In listening to "98 Freestyle", ive come to the conclusion that Big L might be one of the greatest freestyle rappers ever. Not only does the man spit without skipping for several bars, but he also manages to incorporate a multi-syllable flow and some memorable and humorous punchlines. ...I first came across Triniti when I was watching TV with my Daughter Georgia. An advert for their Debut Album came on, and her head turned to the TV, and she was cooing along with them.
I resolved to find the album, but then forgot about it for a while. I recently found the album on Play.com, for the sum of £8.49, including Post and Packaging, which I didn't think was a bad price to pay for such fine music.
They have an eerie sound to them, haunting and melodic. If I had to compare their voices to something or someone, I would have to say..... Remember Clannad ? They did a song called Legend, which was the Theme tune to Robin Of Sherwood, the TV series from the early to mid 80's, which starred Micheal Praed as Robin, and then later on, it changed to Jason Connery (yes, son of Sean). Advantages: Another album of a legend Disadvantages: Not original
...The Notorious B.I.G. is very well known man for everybody. When the first news appeared, that this album will be released, everybody impatient was waiting when the album will appear. At least they wanted to see what heritage this man have left after his death. The album includes 22 tracks. And in the album are featuring many famous artists: Diddy, Eminem, Obie Trice, Twista, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Big Pun, Fat Joe, Freeway, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Faith Evans, Cheri Dennis, Boby Valentino, The Game, Faith Evans, Nelly, Jagged Edge, Avery Storm, 2Pac, Mary J. Blige, Nas, Lil' Wayne, Juelz Santana, Jim Jones, Mobb Deep, Scarface, Akon, Big Gee (Boyz N Da Hood), T.I., Slim Thug, R. Kelly, Charlie Wilson, Missy Elliott and even Bob Marley.
