Many people have been influenced by the scarface film and the rap genre has especially referenced to it man songs. This is now an official compilation of songs with money, power and respect themes. as you would imagine, all are rap. Put together in 2003, this def jam idea includes songs by Nas, Mobb Deep and Notorious BIG, some made especially for the album some old tracks that just fit. Hardcore Adrenaline 3

Advantages: Fast paced, energetic
Disadvantages: Some tracks boring, repetitive

I bought this compilation after my boyfriend downloaded some of its tracks from the internet. I enjoyed the tracks that I had listened to very much and at £5 it was a bargain! Especially as there are 56 tracks, which works out at about 11p per track. The compliation has three discs; CD1 mixed by Stu Allan; CD2 mixed by DJ Seduction and CD3 is a mix of bootlegs. Some of the artists included are: Sy & Unknown, Darren Styles and DJ Stormtrooper. The CD design is typical of its genre; a scantily clad raver girl. I certainly wouldn't buy the CD based on its cover design as I do not particularly enjoy looking at it! The track list is as follows: 1. With Every Heartbeat - Visa 2. Review of Hardcore Adrenaline Vol.3 (Mixed By Stu Allan & DJ Seduction) - Various Artists

Rinse vol 2 mixed by Skream-Pretty heavy!!

Advantages: Good selection of skream tracks
Disadvantages: the frequencies tend to stay in the same conceptual space too often

This mix is quite a hefty run through of all the big tracks of 2007 in the world of Dub-step (which is a relatively new but ever-increasingly popular music genre). The sound is from London and the UK (which is where most of the producers on the mix come from. The tracks are based upon what DJ Skream likes personally and what he plays at DJ sets (or was in the 2007-2008 period). Kulture kicks off the mix with a reggae infuse synth bassline rizing track which gets the energy levels pumping straight from the outset (interesting way to start a mix!) Next is a track from Skream himself which was popular one on pirate radio and in D clubs 'wobble that gut' with minimal progressive beats and bass-lines.
