Advantages: Just too funny for words Disadvantages: Absolutely none!
Well what can one say about this great British comedian other than "Hello Playmates"
I am 59 yrs of age and I "grew up" with the comedy talent of such comedians as ArthurAskey and Max Miller. If you want to hear true British comedy instead of the drivel they put out to day, and have the nerve to call Alternative Comedy, Sometimes I can be, and I have to say at this juncture "accidentally watching" some of this rubbish, and some of the audience are laughing, but many are not, and I am left most times with the opinion of "What on earth was funny about that or what are they laughing at?" Like I said if you want a true Britsih laugh then rush out and buy this CD "You will laugh till the tears run down your legs!" ...
Advantages: some good battle scenes Disadvantages: poor story, poor charaters
strong bond between them.
The group of knights are lead by Arthur who has ambitions of returning to Rome when his military service is at an end. His idealistic views of the world mean that he believes he will be able to make a big difference from there and influence things.

Before freeing Arthur and his knights the Romans instruct them to complete one final mission. Arthur is sent to retrieve a Roman Priest and his son from the clutches of the invading Saxons. This final mission looks more like a suicide mission because of the numbers of Saxons approaching and the presence of the Woads, but ...
Advantages: a brave attempt at history Disadvantages: dont expect the medieval tale
The historical action film is a popular genre these days, and one that unfortunately is generally not done well. Generaly there will always be a conflict of interests, the balance of making a audience friendly action movie against a potrayal of history is a very difficult thing to do, and with King Arthur I think that the writers, David Franzoni and John Lee Hancock. have done an excellant job. The problem with the story of Arthur is that its such a vague story in its original sources that there is room for so many different versions all with possibilites and merits. What we think we know about the story, Camelot, The Round Table, Excalibur, Merlin and the Holy Grail are a mix of ideas from a range of cultures and ages laided down in medieval France for reasons of propaganda and entertainment, so the fact that the film follows its own ...
