This is a fat album. It contains some huge tunes which will knock you off your feet. This is mainly due to the compelling guitar sound and the wailing vocals. The songs are mostly up beat and in your face (love in an elevator, rag doll) but there are some more sentimental ones ‘cryin’). I like this a lot and there are very few weak tracks on the album. Livin on the edge shows the delicacy of some of the guitar work whilst the final track is a hard core live version of ‘dude looks like a lady’. This is a ballsy album and one which should have a place in your collection.
