Everyone has an opinion on Big Brother, regardless of whether you watch it or not. For some, it's entertaining. For others, it's pointless TV, watched by idiots, which is taking up time and money which could be used on other shows.

Basically, a group of everyday people are put into a house which is completely covered by televsion cameras and microphones. The show then runs for a number of weeks (10+).
The contestants participate in daily tasks which they must complete in order to gain a reward. They also get a main task which covers a few days, which depending on their performance, either earns them a food budget to buy what they like from the shopping list or earns them rice and other basic food.
The contestants also nominate each other to decide who faces eviction. The public then vote for who ...

Well if you do not have a copy of Aerosmiths "Big Ones" and you are a fan of the group or some of their songs, then I certainly would urge you to check this fantastic, well put together, music CD out, as it is excellent! The "Big Ones" album, by Aerosmith is one of the groups many ?Greatest hits? albums they have released over the years.
Aerosmith are a rock band (for those who have never heard of them) and are considered America's greatest rock group ever. They started out together in1971 and to date have released over fifteen albums and also, a few greatest hits albums including "Big Ones ...

I'm a fan of Bill Bryson. I like his dry, acerbic wit, and the way he bombards the reader with lots of dry facts yet manages to still keep it entertaining.
The latest book of his I read (although not the latest written), was Notes from a Big Country.
As I said, delivering trivial facts and figures in an amusing fashion is Bryson's forte and when those facts are about the land of his birth (USA), and are compared then related to his once adopted homeland (UK), I can visualize him virtually drooling at the prospect.
And so, following his return to live in New England after 20-odd years domiciled in Olde England, when the editor of the British newspaper, The Mail on Sunday, asked him to write a weekly magazine column documenting his return home, you would imagine he'd leap at the chance.
