Advantages: They Rock! Disadvantages: Not very big in England
...Bush have once again shown us why they are one of the biggest bands in America. "The Science of Things" is packed with great songs in their classic grung rock style. "Warm Machine" and "The Chemicals Between Us" are the main stand out tracks and with "Letting the Cables Sleep" they show us their mellower side.
However, despite them having another top album under their belt, being one of America's biggest selling rock acts and being British, they have still failed to truly capture the British market. Some may say that this is due to different musical tastes of Britain and America but I think it is surly only a matter of time before Gavin Rossdale and co. concur their home nation....

Advantages: Good songs Disadvantages: Lacking Madness charm
...Suggs, as we all know, is the lead singer of Madness. This is his solo effort, and what an effort it is. His first cd, Lone Ranger, may not have the charm of Madness, but it's still pretty damn good. This is evident in songs like I'm OnlySleeping, a great Beatles cover; Alcahol; 4am; The Tune, which is more reminiscent of Madness, and ofcourse the album's best song, Camden Town which was a rather big hit. Most of the other songs are good, with a weaker track here and there. A better one is Cecilia, the Simn and Garfunkel song, which he does pretty well. ...This shows REM at there commercial peak, and cretaintly its rightlgarded as one of their best albums. Only a band like REM could open an album with a chorus-less number like Drive, but even that is a brooding , entraling tune that sucks in the listener. All the big singles are here such as The Sidewinder Sleep tonites (complete with giggled vocals) and of course, th song that I remember from all y high school discos - Everybody Hurts. The sort of album that you'll listen through the whole way rather than just flick through the singles, and it is definately a sennse of this beiing concieved as a whole rather than individual songs. Can't recommend it enough...
