...I can highly recommend this album to anyone who likes ambient, well-written music. Both the lyrics and music are poetic and flowing. With summer well on it's way this is perfect for evenings with your mates as the sun's going down. A couple of my friends have bought this on my recommendation and love it. Personal favourites are "Hurricane" and "Nightless Night". These two tracks are poles apart and are great examples of the range that Husky Rescue cover on this album. Hurricane is a slow, sombre but beautiful song whereas "Nightless Night" is a really upbeat electro-pop track. Also worth a mention is the 3-part "Blueberry Tree" with it's oriental, delicate sound that gets better and better the more you hear it. Overall this is a stunning album and I'll be looking out for any future releases from them.... Read review

Disadvantages: some slow tracks

...Johnny, johnny,johnny what and unbelievabe album for his new debut, best new band of last year at the nme's and after a couple of listens you can see why. This fast flammed album is definitely a grower the more and more you listen, the more the artistic developtment is shown. Best songs on the album girl with the golden touch, rip it up, and personal favourite somewhere else. Worst song to the sea seems pointless. Nice indie rock sound, johnny's voice very mesmorizing. Good live entertainers. Target audience is any age, not to heavy not to soft, reaches a good equilibrieum. Which way out is clearly written from experience, which is nice to see in the lyrics. Brilliant album from some cool fun guys. Give it a listen... Read review

Advantages: Old songs in a new light
Disadvantages: A little sickly in places

...When I received "Moment of glory" my first thoughts, before even ripping the shrink wrap, where how utterly preposterous and pompus this album must sound, I mean the Scorpions (possibly the most successful euro-rock band ever) have never avoided any chance to be over the top even when playing some of their better songs or even more tacky numbers like the massive hit "Wind of change", but how wrong could I be. Instead of going the Metallica S&M route of just playing the songs and adding the orchestra over the top to create a massive wall of sound the Scorpions seem to have embraced the sounds and feel of a large orcestra and worked with it to create something stirring and truely memorable.
