I would now like to talk one of the songs within this album, now been a big Bob Marley fan this was one of the latter albums I bought as I was under the impression that I had most of the tracks on it.
How I was wrong, one track on this album is far better than other material I have ever heard, no its not No Woman No Cry, it is in fact Talkin Blues.

This is not a cover of the orginal Bill Withers song. It was simply inspired by it, so only the chorus is what makes the tracks so similar. Will first came out with this track after writing out the lyrics for a children's book, later he translated this into a rap track jst by adding the beat.
This track is an emotive one a Will tells us the story of what happened after the birth of his son, Trey, he is the lesser known son of the artist as he was born to a mother who is no longer assciated with Will. He goes into detail about his hopes and aspirations for his son, and says he will always be there for him.

Advantages: Music that is innovative and original and strangely beautiful Disadvantages: One or two tracks prevent the album from being an all time classic
...a vocoder and accompanied by an array of synthesiser effects. The central idea is taken from French composer Massenet's 1885 hymn the aria "O Souverain, o juge, o père" (O Sovereign, O Judge, O Father) from the opera Le Cid. It also contains lyrics derived from Tao Te Ching: "when love is gone, there's always justice / And when justice is gone, there's always force / And when force is gone, there's always Mom". Understandably not everyone liked it. At 8 minutes and 21 seconds long it irritated DJs up and down the country (except Mr Peel) who were forced to play it when it entered the top twenty.
