Advantages: Consistently good songs Disadvantages: Didn't sell enough!

Do not expect a whole string of "What's Up" soundalikes! The rest of the tracks have a much more rocky feel, at times sounding like a female-fronted Led Zeppelin, and at others like 70s band Pavlov's Dog.
The album opens with a track called "Train", and is then followed by "Superfly", ... ...been a fool, baby don't you know what's the way I like it".
The third track is "What's Up" - the one that everyone knows! A brilliant track, and in my opinion the album would be worth it even if the others were terrible! Everyone can relate to the line "So I cry sometimes when I'm lying in bed, just to get it all out what's in my head". A masterpiece!

Everyone can relate to the line "So I cry sometimes when I'm lying in bed, just to get it all out what's in my head". A masterpiece! This is followed by "Pleasantly Blue" which is one of my faves. It is based around a classic rock riff and is great for when you're in a party mood! Other standout tracks include "Morphine and Chocolate" and "Dear Mr President" (gets poitical this one - "It's such a wonderful country but the man, he's burning it down" If you're into rock and guitars and amazing voices, you shoudld definitely go out and by this album!
Advantages: PRETTY AVERAGE ALBUM Disadvantages: QUITE A FEW
Linda Perry is the singer/songwriter of this 1990 female version of Oasis band. Their music is loud and has a grungy style sound, they would call themselves as being folk-rock, but I would class them as being more grunge, rock and slight touch of pop.
Linda has such an unusually loud voice that would seem to overpower anyone, and the bands image is just as grungy as Oasis. Yes.. this is the only grungy female band that I know.
The only hit that ... ...Up’, great for singing to if you have a good set of tonsils! They’re the kind of band that when you have a look at them, you have absolutely no clue where they from! By the way they dressed it would’ve either been a bedsit or a back alleyway! Big chunky boots, dreadlocks and body piercing, and they’re women!… can’t quite get over that one.
I don’t remember their faces – just their outfits! Isn’t ...

This report would like I completely special CD to dedicate. Indeed my first own CD!
Before 10 years I bought my first stereo-system. My brother could handle out at that time (I was only 13 and had from the trade
still no notion) a CD for the cash payment for me. I know still exactly, how long I considered at that time. Finally I decided for "Bigger, Better, Faster, More!" from the 4 Non Blondes. At that time with
"What's the UP" nevertheless were ... ...very well. Honestly said, I would not know an answer to the question whether those volume after "Bigger, Better,
Faster, More!" still another further album brought on the market. Me is anyhow anything well-known. Here a few short information to the volume members: Linda Perry -Vocals
Roger Rocha - guitar
Christa Hillhouse - bass Dawn Richardson - drums
On the album are 11 songs contained, which now I will give myself times in detail little attention, ...

Album Reviews
Q Magazine - (7/93, p.88) - 4 Stars - Excellent - "...tracks like `What's Up' and `Spaceman' sound like suspiciously timeless classics...diversity of material diffuses the impact of the record to a degree, but [the album] is nevertheless an auspicious introduction..." Entertainment Weekly (5/7/93, p.58) - "...Imagine a distaff Spin Doctors with more ooomph...[a] musical grab bag...stuffed with jet-propelled folk rock, angst-ridden anthems, high-octane blues, and '90s protest songs..." - Rating: A-
