Marcus Trescothick - Test Career
Marcus Trescothick has been a superb find for English cricket. He has come a long way from his days at county side Somerset. He has been an integral part of the success England have recently enjoyed. He made his debut against the West Indies at Old Trafford in August of 2000. He is playing in his 50th test this week against New Zealand at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Since his debut has been an ever present for England and has contributed many runs in England games. He also captained the side at Lord's in the absence of skipper Michael Vaughan through injury. Trescothick has since returned to his role as vice captain. He is also a key fielder in the slips, but his form has dropped a bit of late as he's failing to cling on to some edges.

and suddenly the awesome Set the world on Fire was there before me. I watched a few more videos of their songs, then promptly logged onto Ebay and bought this album, which I am reviewing now? Paradise Lost (based loosely on John Milton?s poem).
Now I like various styles of music, but I am a bit of a metal head, and that is exactly what Symphony X appeal to. In short, they are a power metal quintet. I am not saying it is pneumatic drilling all the way, oh no: they have a varied assortment of sounds from fast, to chunky, then to soft and melodic. There is a grand operatic sound to them too, as though their music could be the theme to Lord of the Rings or something similar. I think that sums it up briefly?
