The Black and Blue album of the Backstreet Boys was released in November 2000. The idea of the title of the album came from Brian as the boys were in Los Angeles for a photoshoot. To promote the release of Black & Blue, the boys traveled around the world in 100 hours to Sweden, Japan, Australia, South Africa, Brazil, and the US. The album debuted with 1.9 million units sold in the first week in America, making the band the first ever artist to have two albums sell a million or more copies in the first week. In November 2000, Black & Blue had sold more than five million copies worldwide in its initial week, setting a new first-week record in international sales. Truly, this album is one of the most popular albums from the boys. Here are the titles of the tracks included in this album and some little info about it:
1. The Call 03:24 2. Shape of My Heart 03:50 3. Get Another Boyfriend 03:05 4. Shining Star 03:22 5. I Promise You (With Everything I Am) 04:23 6. The Answer to Our Life 03:18 7. Everyone 03:30 8. More Than That 03:44 9. Time 03:55 10. Not for Me 03:15 11. Yes I Will 03:50 12. It's True 04:13 13. What Makes You Different (Makes You Beautiful) 04:13 14. How Did I Fall in Love With You 04:04
Track 13 is also an OST from the movie Princess Diaries 1 Starring Anne Hathaway. This is one of the best albums I have of the Backstreet Boys. The songs actually improved and adapted to the changing genre of the year. As for the appearance of the album, the front page is simple, there is no picture of them whatsoever but when you open the booklet enclosed in the CD case, there are pages containing photos of them together as well as individual photoshoots. They all looked handsome as ever! Unfortunately, there is no lyrics in the booklet, only some information about the individual songs. Nevertheless, this is a great album for your collection!
