Mario Bava's 1964 film, originally titledSei donne per l'assassino, is one of the earliest slasher movies, and remains a suspenseful, disturbing and oddly seductive film.The complex, lurid plot features blackmail, murder for profit, drug addiction and scandal among the beautiful people. Smooth Cameron Mitchell and lovely Eva Bartok are the conspirators, pursued by a plodding Columbo-style detective. However, Bava goes beyond the world of Agatha Christie or Edgar Wallace to embrace the surreal and the nightmarish. Each murder is handled like a musical number, with elaborate camera moves, striking colour effects and a strangely memorable jazz score. There is certainly more than a tinge of misogyny in the treatment of actresses as disposable dummies, but the plot is equally cynical about its grasping, feeble, suspicious male characters. Advantages: Many brilliant songs that will keep you listening to the album repeatedly guaranteed. Disadvantages: One or two songs that are slightly boring but will not bother the fans.

Advantages: Many great Pop Punk gems Disadvantages: Probably wont appeal to those that don't usually go for Pop Punk
...The Explosion is one of those 'The Next Big Thing' branded bands - and the thing about these bands is that sometimes it happens for them, and sometimes it doesn't. However, in most of the cases where it just doesn't happen, the band isn't particularly great - this can't really be said of The Explosion. With 'Black Tape,' The Explosion has produced an album that although not entirely original, is full of substance, energy and excitement. There are many great tracks on display on this album that make The Explosion stand out from the pack and seem like a shining star in a sky of monotonous generic bands.
This album kicks off with 'Deliver Us' which in some respects is a bit of a bad move because I'd say that this is probably one of the weaker tracks on the album. There is some heavy distortion on the guitars, and it doesn't really do...

My Chemical Romance before this album were afive piece emo punk rock band. Formed as a result of the September 11 terrorists attacks that affected the frontman Gerard Way greatly and he wanted to do something with his life. The band eventually formed to be Gerard and Mikey Way, Ray Turo, Bob Bryar & Frank Iero.
The first album 'I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love' which was the most hardcore of their three albums, raw sound in this produces a powerful feeling. This was followed by their second album which was a mainstream success in the 'emo' scene. 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge' was an immediate success with the release of the single 'Helena' and later added popularity with the more poppy sounding 'I'm Not Okay'.
