...Undoing Ruin is definitely one of the band's best albums, my favorite... The music takes you on a rollercoaster. Really fast Progressive New Metal, with the most beautiful melodies(Fast and Slow) in between. The lyrics is filled with metaphors, and tends to be uplifting. If you're a guitarist, this album needs to be on your shelf. Really good musically. You will appreciate it so much more if you see how they play these songs. Related bands: Parkway Drive, All that Remains, Black Dahlia Murder... Listen to when you're feeling down and need something to pick you up. This album is one of the few in my big collection, that does just that. The band itself is also brilliant, so if you like this album, be sure to check out the other ones.... Read review

...signature keyboard sound, which adds sonic texture this is counter pointed by Robbie's solo guitar playing along with Rick Danko's from Robbie's old group The Band back ground singing. The next track in the running order was co-written by the great pianist Bruce Hornsby, this song is one of the standout tracks of the album with the organ playing of Art Neville and the horn arrangement Wardell Quezergue making it stand out from the previous songs. "Soap Box Preacher" should make followers of Neil Young stand up and take notice because if you listen very carefully you will hear him singing background vocals on the track. "Day of Reckoning (Burnin' for You) " is another of the tracks on this album that benefits from the Paul Moore of the Blue Nile fame playing keyboards, along with the horn arrangement of Mark Isham, Mr Isham is a trumpet player...
