After being featured in the Rolling Stones Top 10 for 2008, and the BBC's Ones To Watch list, Black Kids album was deffinatly one i was looking out for, and when i finally got round to buying and listening to the album, i was not disapointed! Carrying over tracks from the EP such as "Hit the Heartbrakes", "Hurricane Jane", "I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend...", and "I've Underestimated My Charm", already sets off the album to a great start with fantastic, established tracks, however none of the new tracks i felt were good enough to live up to the hype surrounding the first EP. Regardless, i would say this is a album well worth owning, sing and dance along tracks like the fantastic single "I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend", aren't going to change your life, or make you want to get up off your sofa and make a difference, but this album will make you smile, dance, and set your day of to a great start. Deffinaty one of this years summer anthems.
