Advantages: Hilarious in places, top quality nostalgia Disadvantages: Seriously sacrilegious in other places
...First of all, do not buy this album unless you have a good sense of humour. Hardcore Sabbath fans can be very fanatical at times, and I wouldn’t advise them to get this. In case you don’t know, this is the second, and generally more fun instalment in the Nativity In Black series, where bands who are mostly from the Ozzfest line-up get together to praise Sabbath by having a bit of a kareoke session in the studios. Sometimes the covers are quite good, sometimes they are severely dodgy, sometimes they are amusingly bad, and sometimes they are just plain sacrilegious. Put this together and you get a package to amuse the casual Black Sabbath fan for an hour, or to get the average nu-metal kid into Ozzy. Here’s the track-by-track:
