Containing all the songs off their Black Parade album in order this is just a live version of this album. The songs have more energy and are more aggressive which make it more exciting. Gerard Way's (lead singer) energy almost is too much because he is left breathless quite often which hampers his usually good singing ability. This becomes increasingly obvious as the concert goes on but doesn't take anything away from the brilliance of the songs because he puts all his passion and emotion into them as he sings them live. The guitar solos are changed in a few songs which works well because it makes the songs a bit more interesting and unique. The solos they play are better in this live version that the record i think. Sometimes there are sounds on the audio CD that don't make sense because they are part of the visual display such as when the fireworks go off at the end of Welcome To The Black Parade. Overall i think that My Chemical Romance play live better than they play on the record and so apart from the breathless singing at times, this is a great album. Song list is : The End Dead! This is how i disappear The sharpest lives Welcome to the black parade I don't love you House of wolves Interlude Cancer Mama Sleep Teenagers The black parade is dead! --DVD of The Black Parade Is Dead Live In Mexico --
Amazing. The lights, the outfits, the energy of the band and the choreography all combine with the music to make a great live show. Opening with Gerard Way lying on a hospital bed, he is then joined by the rest of the band to play The End and immediately it is evident that this will be a great performance. Gerard Way controls the crowd and makes them want more and more by making them sing parts for him or addressing them with,"you can shake it right here, with nobody watching but me." Personally, I watched this concert feeling jealous of the 23,000 people lucky enough to be there. The songs are the same as the audio CD.
--DVD of My Chemical Romance at Maxwell's in Hoboken--
This is a very intimate concert with Gerard Way as charismatic as ever and a polished performance by the band. The band have much less space to play on so the energy is less but still fairly high. The crowd sometimes can be heard to much because unfortunately there are a few fans who aren't very good singers. It is still a very enjoyable concert to watch but doesn't create the same goosebumps that watching them play in Mexico City does. My Chemical Romance don't just play songs from the Black Parade but play some songs from their previous albums. They play the following set list : Welcome To The Black Thank you for the venom Dead! The sharpest lives This is how i disappear Teenagers I'm not okay You know what they do to guys like us in prison Famous last words Give 'em hell kid House of wolves Its not a fashion statement, its a deathwish I don't love you Untitled Mama Helena Cancer.
-- Conclusion --
A great buy for any My Chemical Romance fan because their live show is brilliant whether you prefer their smaller or bigger concerts.

Album Notes
My Chemical Romance: Gerard Way (vocals); Ray Toro, Frank Iero (guitar); Michael Ways (bass guitar); Bob Bryar (drums). Personnel: Matt Cortez (acoustic guitar); James Dewees (keyboards, percussion). Recorded in front of 20,000 fans in Mexico City during the fall of 2007, this My Chemical Romance concert album features the adventurous, goth-leaning post-hardcore band performing for the final time as the dark-clad ensemble from 2006's heralded opus, THE BLACK PARADE. With pomp and circumstance befitting the occasion, vocalist Gerard Way leads the group through the entire record, including the sweeping "Welcome to the Black Parade" and the melancholy "Cancer." The DVD presents the massive Mexico City show, along with an intimate New Jersey club gig, revealing MCR in two drastically different settings.
